CLOUD TALK: ZHU YUFAN

Zhu Yufan delivered a Cloud Talk on Mon., Nov. 23 @ 2 p.m. in S. R. Crown Hall, Lower Center Core.

ZHU Yufan is a landscape architect whose work has been recognized and celebrated worldwide. He received American Society of Landscape Architects awards for his Xiangshan Villas housing and for the Shanghai Quarry Garden and was the first Chinese landscape architect invited to participate in the Venice Biennale.

He is Professor and Deputy Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at Tsinghua University where he directs the history and theory courses as well as design studios. He earned his M.L.A. and Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture from Beijing Forestry University and was a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
