MOMA Satellite Museum

B Arch, 4th Year Fall, 2019

The project, a Museum of Modern Art satellite museum, was designed as an environment to house six specific pieces of art. Using concrete as the primary material, the building appears to be a blank canvas to emphasize the artworks. Through the language of angled geometries, distinct lighting setups were used to enhance the viewing experience for different types of art. Direct lighting was used for two 3D art pieces, diffuse light was used for two 2D art pieces, and no light was used for the film and the light art piece.
