Studio Associate Professor John DeSalvo’s latest in a series of architectural guides, Pocket Guide to Miami Architecture, was released in March by W.W. Norton & Company, New York. Judith Paine McBrien and John DeSalvo’s guide organizes notable sites into walkable tours of Miami while including full-color illustrations by DeSalvo.
DeSalvo has also illustrated the newly updated third edition of the Pocket Guide to Chicago Architecture in collaboration with McBrien. The revised Chicago guide is currently available for pre-order from Norton, with print copies scheduled to be available in time for the upcoming American Institute of Architects (AIA) convention at McCormick Place in Chicago this June 26-28.
Author McBrien and illustrator DeSalvo have also produced a Pocket Guide to Los Angeles Architecture.
