MCHAP/CAB TÊTE-A-TÊTE

The MCHAP Tête-à-tête, "Dialogues around the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize," will be Saturday, September 16 at S. R. Crown Hall from 9 a.m. - noon.

Curated by Fabrizio Gallanti, editor of “MCHAP 1 The Americas” volume, this panel discussion is presented as part of the opening weekend of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial.

The panel discussion will present a series of public dialogues about the process, outcomes and future of the first trans-American architecture prize, the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (MCHAP), launched by the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2014. The event will convene different stakeholders of both Chicago and the Chicago Architecture Biennale (jurors, editors, experts, and designers) with MCHAP participants.

The Roundtable will be accompanied by an exhibition of MCHAP nominated works, selected entries, and publications produced by the Prize and Prize winners.
