Francesco Marullo is an architect and educator based in Chicago and Rotterdam. He holds a PhD in History and Theory of Architecture from the Delft University of Technology, and is currently Assistant Professor at the UIC School of Architecture in Chicago.

He has taught design studios and theory seminars at The Berlage Institute, TU Delft, the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture, and the Roma Tre University, as well as having worked with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, Matteo Mannini Architects, and DOGMA. As a founding member of the research collective The City as a Project he has collaborated with the peer-reviewed journals Footprint (TU Delft Architecture Theory Journal in Netherlands) and Materia Arquitectura (Journal of the Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad San Sebastián in Santiago, Chile).

In 2012 Marullo co-founded Behemoth Press, a think-tank platform devoted to the exploration of the architectural project in the form of essays, drawings, exhibitions, and publications.
