Elia Zenghelis, co-founder of OMA, delivered SOM Architecture and Urban Planning Lecture on Ideology on Mon., Mar. 2nd @ 2 p.m. in S. R. Crown Hall.
Elia Zenghelis is an architect and educator. A tenured professor of architecture at the Dusseldorf Academy of Fine Arts, Zenghelis will be a guest professor this year at Yale University. Zenghelis taught at London’s Architectural Association and is a cofounder of OMA, where he was partner in charge of OMA London and OMA Athens. In 2000, Zenghelis received the Annie Spink Award for Excellence in Education from the Royal Institute of British Architects, and is widely considered one of the most influential leaders in the transformation of architectural education in the last half-century.
